Many of our students already know God has CALLED them. We want to come alongside them and help them identify and develop that call. Through CAMS for Students, we will partner with our pastors, youth pastors, and parents to recruit and engage these students in their ministerial formation process.
CAMS for Students will begin on January 6, 2024.
The application deadline is December 1, 2023.

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
Calling and Ministry Studies for Students is designed to focus on high school and college students (ages 16-22) who have felt a call to vocational ministry.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF CAMS FOR STUDENTS?
The Purpose of the Calling And Ministry Studies for Students is twofold: (1) to help students determine their calling and understand the meaning and practices of ministry, and (2) to help the church assess the student’s suitability for credentialed ministry in the Church of God.
There are two sections to the CAMS for Students - seminar and individual study. The purposes of the seminars are, (1) to identify how the individuals know they have a divine call, (2) to explain what the meaning and practices of ministry are, and (3) to assist the students in determining what their divine call is and understanding what ministry is. The seminars are attended by all applicants (two in-person and two Zoom seminar)
WHAT DOES THE CAMS FOR STUDENTS WORK LOAD LOOK LIKE?
CAMS for Students is a program with four phases: EXPLORE, EQUIP, ENGAGE, and EMPOWER. This will be implemented in four monthly seminars along with an internship to be completed by the students at their local church. Seminar One and Seminar Four (Jan & April) will be in-person, and Seminar Two and Seminar Three (Feb & Mar) will be via Zoom.

In addition, students will read/study the textbook, CALLED, and answer the questions at the end of each chapter. Each student will read a reflection and watch a video for each chapter. Also, students will read/study chapters in the textbook, Hearing God’s Call and Doing His Will.
